Wineries on or near the Bohemian Highway:

Balletto Vineyards
As grape growers first, we strongly feel that with good grapes comes good wine. We invite you to come "taste the bounty that is Balletto". Sharing the tasting room at Balletto Vineyards is the Dutton-Goldfield winery. Presenting wine enthusiasts with one of the truly great combinations of two premier Russian River Valley Wineries at one location, producing varietally true wines that are expressive of the terroir

Dutton Estate and Sebastopol Vineyards
Dutton Estate Winery produces vineyard-designated pinot noir, chardonnay, syrah and sauvignon blanc from the family's estate vineyards at Dutton Ranch in the Green Valley and Russian River Valley. Collectively with winemaker Mat Gustafson, the wines of Dutton Estate Winery and Sebastopol Vineyards articulate the individualized characteristics of our estate vineyards and the efforts of a devoted winemaker and grape grower.

Dutton Goldfield
Dutton Goldfield's mission is to craft world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (along with a touch of Zinfandel and Syrah) that display the brightness of fruit, complexity, structure and balance that are reflective of our cool coastal home in and around the Russian River Valley.

Freestone Vineyards
Freestone wine is as much a revelation of its terroir as an expression of the grapes themselves. Freestone Vineyards is committed to sustaining the integrity of the Freestone environment. Both organic and biodynamic farming methods are utilized in the vineyards. The winery itself is located in the vineyards and built into the hillside to reduce both its volume and footprint. The design of the winery is consistent with the agricultural character of its surroundings. The Freestone Vineyards Guest Center is located at the corner of Bodega Highway and Bohemian Highway in Freestone and is open to the public Friday, Saturday & Sunday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. No appointment is necessary. Groups of six or more are encouraged to call ahead.

Lynmar
After selling fruit from the estate to some of the top Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers in the Russian River Valley, the Fritz family founded Lynmar Winery in 1990 to produce world-class wines reflecting the character of the Quail Hill Vineyard and the appellation. Mindful of our environment and our staff's well being, we employ sustainable and organic farming techniques that are gentle on the region's natural resources as well as our team members.

Marimar Torres
Marimar Torres employs all organic farming methods at the 60-acre Don Miguel Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, the exclusive fruit source for the Estate's Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Wine Country

The Bohemian Highway joins one of Sonoma's smallest wine growing appellations, Green Valley to the two largest: Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast. The diverse climates and soils or terroir of the surrounding wine region produce some of the finest pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and many many other varietals.

Small family owned wineries, tasting rooms, boutique wine stores and markets along and within minutes of the Bohemian Highway make this a central destination for the wine connoisseur or novice wanting to learn about the world-renowned wines of Sonoma.

You'll find limited production wines on the menus of Bohemian Highway restaurants and in the boutique wine stores rarely seen outside of Sonoma. |
